Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension does not collect any user data. While our extension has access to all of the cookies in Chrome, it only encrypts and decrypts them locally. If they are encrypted and the SDA-enabled device is removed, the cookies will remain encrypted until the SDA device is re-connected to the computer.

Mobile Application

Our mobile application will periodically upload usage data to our servers. The data we collect will not be linked to your identity in any way. The data logged will only include the public key of your device, which is never linked your name, phone number, or any identifiable material. This key is generated randomly during the setup process. The logs will only include the type of access that was requested and timing information pertaining to the request and the response (e.g., a request to open the door that required no user interaction or a request to authorize the ‘sudo’ command that required user intent).

Desktop Application

Our desktop application will periodically upload your configuration parameters to our servers. The data we collect will not be linked to your identity in any way. The data logged will only include the raw configuration parameters, and will only be used to evaluate which configurations users choose in real-world scenarios.
